This artice details on how to create and manage Auth Request.


TherapyPM simplifies the process of creating and managing Auth Requests for patients. You can view, search, and filter existing Auth Requests, add new ones, and even download the list of requests as a CSV or Excel file, and much more! 


How to manage Auth Requests?


1. Click the "+" icon at the top of the Dashboard. 

2. Select the Auth Request optionIt will redirect you to the Auth Request page with the list of requests. 


3. You can see the Auth Request list below with the following information:


  1. Name: Shows the patient's name.
  2. DOB: Shows patient's date of birth (Searchable using the search bar).  
  3. Auth Requested Type: Shows the auth type requested. 
  4. Subject: Shows the description of the auth request. 
  5. COB: Shows whether the insurance is primary or secondary (displays only when patients have multiple insurances).
  6. Attachments: Displays any files attached to the auth request. 
  7. Type of Request: Shows the specialty you are operating under. 
  8. Date Initiated: Shows when the authorization was requested for the first time. 
  9. F/W Up Date: Shows the dates for whenever the authorizations were followed up. 
  10. Status: Shows the status of the requested authorization.
  11. Auth Note: Shows additional information or any files attached (optional).


4. To personalize your patient search, use the Search Name filter to generate the list as preferred.


Other Actions:

  1. Download Icon: Click this option to download the list in a CSV format. 
  2. + Authorization Request: Click here to add a new authorization request to the list. Please visit this article to learn how!
