Assessment services cannot be removed from an authorization if appointments have already been scheduled under that service. To remove the assessment, any existing assessment sessions must be deleted first.

Additionally, even if an authorization shows a large total unit amount, TherapyPM enforces limits at the individual service level.

For example:

• You may see a total authorization of 814 units

• But if a specific service (such as direct therapy) is configured with a 40-hour limit, the system will restrict scheduling beyond that amount for that service

This ensures services are billed according to their assigned authorization limits.
