If no patient names appear when creating an appointment, it is usually because the required scheduling permissions are not enabled for the user.

Even if a user can access the scheduling screen, they must have at least one of the following permissions enabled to select a patient:

  • Schedule Sessions for All Patients, or

  • Schedule Sessions for Assigned Patients Only

If both of these options are turned off, the patient search field will remain blank, and no names will appear as you type.
