When manually applying payments, closed claims are not shown by default in the payment posting screen.
If a payment has already been applied and the claim is closed, it will not appear during claim search unless the appropriate options are enabled.
To locate and apply a payment to a closed claim:
Enable the Include Closed toggle
Enable the Apply Overpayment toggle (if applicable)
Search for the claim again
Once these options are enabled, the closed claim will appear, allowing you to apply an overpayment or make further adjustments.
