TherapyPM has introduced a new update under the Staff Portal called Access Settings. This feature allows administrators to grant or restrict specific access permissions for staff members within their Provider Portal.


Manage settings

  1. Navigate to the Staff module.

  2. Select the desired staff member using the scroll list or search bar.

  3. Go to Staff Portal > Access Settings.

  4. Toggle the permissions you wish to allow or deny for the selected provider.


The permissions include and as explained below:


General Access

  1. Send Session Email Reminders
    Enable this toggle to allow providers to receive email reminders for scheduled sessions.

  2. Enable Mobile App Access (iOS & Android)
    Enable this toggle to allow providers to access the mobile application.


Patient Access


  1. Create Patient
    Allows providers to create new patients and manage their information.

  2. Access All Patients
    Grants providers access to all patient records within the system.

  3. Edit Patient Information
    Allows providers to update and modify patient details.

  4. Edit Patient Authorizations
    Allows providers to view and update patient authorization information.


Scheduling Access


  1. Create or Edit Appointments
    Allows providers to schedule and modify sessions.

  2. Schedule Sessions for All Patients
    When enabled, providers can schedule sessions for all patients.
    When disabled, they can only schedule sessions for patients assigned to them.

  3. Schedule Sessions for All Providers
    When enabled, providers can schedule sessions on behalf of all providers.
    When disabled, they can only schedule sessions for themselves.

  4. Credential-Based Scheduling Only
    When enabled, providers can only schedule services that match their credential type.
    They will not be able to schedule services for other providers.

  5. Record Patient Arrival Times
    Allows providers to track session time and record patient arrival times.

  6. Restrict Session Deletions
    When enabled, providers will not be able to delete sessions.


Session Access

  1. Access All Sessions
    Allows providers to access and modify sessions created by other providers.

  2. Access Clinician Team Sessions
    Allows providers to access sessions within their clinician team.
    In the system, a team consists of providers who share assigned patients.
