“Clubbing” happens when two or more sessions have the same patient, date of service, and treatment service. The system combines them into one main session:
- The units from the other sessions are added to the main session.
- The additional sessions have their units set to zero and are moved to Unbillable Activity.
- A session with a grey lock indicates its units were changed to zero and is now unbillable.
Example:
If Patient A has two 1-hour sessions for “Speech Therapy” on 10/25/25:
If Patient A has two 1-hour sessions for “Speech Therapy” on 10/25/25:
- The first session will remain and show 2 hours with their units.
- The second session will have its units set to 0 and appear under Unbillable Activity with a grey lock.
