Split by CPT is a claim-division rule in TherapyPM that separates claims based on the CPT codes used for the services.

When this rule is enabled, TherapyPM will create individual claims for each CPT code, ensuring that different types of services (e.g., evaluations, treatments, add-ons) are not combined on the same HCFA claim.

Where to Find This Setting?

1. Navigate to Billing > Billing Setup > Billing Settings. 
2. Under Claims Division Rule, toggle ON "Split By CPT" under the Action column. 

Why This Rule?

Use this when:

• Payers require different CPT codes to be billed on separate claims

• You want cleaner billing segmentation for evaluations vs. treatments

• You need to avoid CPT-mixing claim denials.
