Split by Place of Service is a claim-division rule in TherapyPM that automatically separates claims when services are performed at different Places of Service (POS).
When this rule is enabled, sessions delivered in different locations (e.g., clinic, home, telehealth) will not be combined into a single claim. Instead, TherapyPM will generate separate claims for each POS, helping maintain payer compliance and preventing location-based denials.
Where to Find This Setting?
- Navigate to Billing > Billing Setup > Billing Settings.
- Under Claim Division Rules, toggle ON the Split by Place of Service under the Active column.
