Hint Notes provide additional information related to the deposit and are useful for internal tracking:
In the Cash Posting screen, select the deposit you wish to edit.
Click on the section for Hint Notes or an Edit Notes button. Select the Action (...) button and click Edit Deposit option.
Add or modify notes to provide context or clarification regarding the deposit (e.g., "Check issued from secondary insurance").
Save the changes after entering the notes.
These notes help in future reconciliation or troubleshooting of payments and deposits.
