This article details on how to view your session in the New Calendar View.
The New Calendar View mirrors the original Calendar View but has additional and latest features.
To get started with managing your appointments, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Appointment tab on your screen's left side. Within the Appointment tab, select the New Calendar View option.
How Does the New Calendar View Work?
A. Calendar View Filters:
Below are the filters available in the New Calendar View:
- Availability Toggle: This option will display provider availabilities in the calendar.
- Include Non-Billable: Turning this toggle will include non-billable sessions in the calendar.
- Treatment Type.
- Region.
- Patients.
- Provider.
- Place of Service.
- Service.
- Status.
- Then, click the Go button to apply the filters.
B. Calendar View Date Selection:
On the left side of the screen, the mini calendar allows you to select appointments by choosing a day, week, or month in that particular year.
C. Navigation Button:
This button "< >" will navigate the calendar pages left or right or show the current day.
D. Background Color Setting:
You can customize your calendar by clicking on the "gear icon":
- Customize the appointments by provider or service.
- Choose whether you want to display the provider's first and last initials, the client's first and last initials, or both in each appointment.
- Choose between three different layout types:
- Normal Grid View: The appointments will appear without time divisions.
- Time Grid View: Time divisions will appear and the appointments will have a background color, irrespective of their status.
- Time Grid Rendered View: It is similar to 'Time Grid View' but the appointments are color-coded based on their status. For Month View, this is the only applicable option.
- Show As Default:
- Select Show Weekend or Include Non-billable.
- Default Providers:
- Select the preferred provider(s) as the default provider.
- Select the preferred provider(s) as the default provider.
E. Calendar Sync:
You can sync the TherapyPM calendar with your Google Calendar.
- Click on the Google Calendar Icon.
- Choose the Provider Name and the date range.
- Click on Sync to Google Calendar.
- If you want to reset the synced calendar, click on the Reset Google Calendar button.
F. Print Calendar:
Download a PDF version of the Calendar with this option.
G. Calendar Display:
TherapyPM has three different display views to choose from. You can choose between day, week, or month.

H. Edit Appointment:
You can edit appointment details by following these steps.
- Click on the appointment you need to edit and an Edit Appointment screen will pop up.
- Make the necessary changes.
- Click on the save button and the changes will be saved.
- If you need to know the details of the session, locate the appointment and click on the info button (i) to get a preview.
- Action Button:
- Add Session Notes: Click this option to add a session note.
- View Notes: Click this option to view the add session note.
- Copy Notes: Click this option to create a copy of an existing session note.
- Sticky Notes: Use this option to add a sticky note to the session.
- Add Session Break: Click this option to add session break(s)
- Additional Provider(s): Use this option to add more providers to the session.
- Patient Arrival: Click this option to engage the patient arrival function.
- Start/ End Session: Click this toggle to use the Start/ End Session function.
- Delete Appointment: Click the icon to delete the session.
