This article guides you on how to Start/ End Session in the Edit Session screen.


You can start and end the session seamlessly and effortlessly in one place, without navigating through multiple tabs! 


To start/end the session in different Appointment views, follow the instructions below: 


List View

  1. Navigate the Dashboard menu on the left. Under Appointments, go to List View
  2. Filter your preferred appointments based on the date/date range, treatment type, patient(s), provider(s), service, place of service (POS), status, and notes. Click on Go
  3. Select your preferred appointment, and click on three horizontal dots in the Action column (Right). 
  4. Select Edit Session. A pop-up Edit Appointment will appear. 
  5. Identify the Start Session option on the top with a toggle.  
  6. To start the session, toggle "On" the Start Session. To end the session, toggle "Off" the Start Session. 


Note: Before starting or ending the session, TherapyPM will seek permission to access your location. For precise results, you can turn on the location. 



Calendar View

  1. Navigate the Dashboard menu on the left. Under Appointments, go to Calendar View.
  2. Click on your preferred appointment. A pop-up Edit Appointment will appear.  
  3. Follow the steps 5 and 6 from the List View to start or end the session! 



Calendar View (New)

  1. Navigate the Dashboard menu on the left. Under Appointments, go to Calendar View (New). 
  2. Click on the preferred appointment under the list. Or, filter the appointment from the options on the left side and click on it. A pop-up Edit Appointment will appear. 
  3. Follow the steps 5 and 6 from the List View to start or end the session!



Timeline View

  1. Navigate the Dashboard menu from the left. Under Appointments, go to Timeline View. 
  2. Click on the preferred appointment under the list. A pop-up Edit Appointment will appear. 
  3. Follow steps 5 and 6 from the List View above to start or end the session!

 


 

How to Check the Duration of Your Sessions?

  • Click on the "i" icon next to the Start Session toggle. 
  • A new pop-up Session Timer will appear. It will show the start time, end time, and the duration of each session. You can also see the Total Duration of all sessions combined.
