This article shows how to engage the Patient Arrival function in Edit Appointment screen.
TherapyPM allows you to note down your patients' arrival times precisely too! It can be useful for future reference.
To engage the Patient Arrival function in all appointment views, please follow the instructions below:
List View
- Navigate to the Dashboard menu on the left. Under Appointments, go to List View.
- Filter the appointments with your preferred date/date range, treatment type, patients, provider, service, place of service (POS), status, and notes. Click on Go.
- Select your preferred appointment in the list, and click on the three horizontal buttons in the Action column (right).
- Select Edit Session. A popup Edit Appointment will appear.
- On the bottom left corner, click the blue "Patient Arrival" button. A drop-down will appear.
- The system might show an estimated time of Patient Arrival. However, you can also change the timings by clicking on the red "x" symbol to erase the timings. Update the timing manually and click on the green "tick" symbol to re-confirm the timings.
- Click on Save Changes.

Calendar View
- Navigate to the Dashboard menu on the left. Under Appointments, go to Calendar View.
- Click on your preferred appointment under the list. A popup Edit Appointment will appear.
- Follow steps 5,6 and 7 from the List View above to engage the Patient Arrival function!

Calendar View (New)
- Navigate to the Dashboard menu on the left. Under Appointments, go to Calendar View (New).
- Click on your preferred appointment under the list. Or filter your appointments with the options on the left for precise results, then click on it. A popup Edit Appointment will appear.
- Follow steps 5, 6, and 7 from the List View above to engage the Patient Arrival function!

Timeline View
- Navigate to the Dashboard menu on the left. Under Appointments, go to Timeline View.
- Click on your preferred appointment under the list. A popup Edit Appointment will appear.
- Follow steps 5, 6, and 7 from the List View above to engage the Patient Arrival function!
