This article explains how to request a new Eligibility.


Eligibility and Benefits Verification helps ensure accuracy in billing while preventing claim denials. It can help providers confirm active coverage, patient responsibility, and whether prior authorization is required. 


Creating a new eligibility request can be a bit challenging; however, TherapyPM simplifies the process for you! 


To request a new eligibility with TherapyPM, please follow the steps below: 

  1. Navigate to Billing > Eligibility. 
  2. Click on Request Eligibility (top right corner). 
  3. Fill in the following details: 
    1. Patient Name: Select the patient's name using the dropdown. 
    2. Auth: Select the patient's authorization using the dropdown.
    3. Benefit Type: Select the benefit type using the dropdown. 
    4. Date: Select the date range using the calendar. 
    5. NPI: Select the NPI using the dropdown. 
  4. Request eligibility, finally!

Alternate Method: 

You can also add the new eligibility request directly from the Quick Icon Tray, no matter where you are in TherapyPM! 


  1. Click on the "+" icon. 
  2. Select Eligibility & Benefits. 
  3. It will redirect you to the Eligibility & Benefits page. 
  4. Follow the above steps to request a new eligibility.
