Add a new deposit by clicking the Add Deposit button in the Cash Posting screen. Edit a deposit by clicking the Edit Deposit from the Action (...) button


  1. Select the Cash Postings option under the Payments tab in the left navigation.
  2. In the Cash Postings module, click the Add Deposit button.
  3. In the Add/ Edit Deposit screen, enter the below information and click the Save button.
    1. Select Payee Type - Select whether the type is payor or client.
    2. Payee/ Patient - Select the patient's name or payee name based on the payee type selection.
    3. Deposit Date - Manage the deposit date of the check received.
    4. Payment Method - Select what method of payment was made such as cheque card cash credit EFT.
    5. Check # - Enter the check number manually.
    6. Check Date - Select the check date for easier search.
    7. Amount - Manually update any amount in this space.
    8. Interest Amount - Enter the interest amount in this field.
    9. Unallocated Amount - you can mention any Unallocated amount in this section.
    10. Notes - Add side notes for reference.
    11. File - Upload a document or attachment.
    12. Click the Save button to create the deposit.
