This article explains how you can add/view/edit/delete documents for each patient.
TherapyPM allows you to manage patients' documents effectively without the hassle of paperwork. You can create various document types, add, upload, view, or edit them, and also delete them when necessary.
How To Create Patient File Types
- Click on the Settings tab on the dashboard.
- Navigate to the Patient Setup tab on the left. Click on Patient Settings under it.
- Near the Patient Files Type, click on the orange Add Patient File Type button. A pop-up will appear.
- Enter the title of the patient file type.
- Save changes finally!
- Once you have created the file type, you can upload relevant documents for that patient.
- For further actions, follow these steps:
- Edit - To edit the document type, click on the blue pen and paper icon.
- Delete - To delete the type, click on the trash button.
How To Add Patient Documents
- Navigate to the blue navigation bar on the left. Go to Patients.
- Under the All Patients list, select your preferred patient.
- After selecting the patient, click on the fifth sub-tab "Files" on the left.
- Choose the relevant folder on the top.
- Click on the blue "Add File" button on the bottom left. When a small box pops up, complete the following steps:
- Description - Describe the document in a few words.
- Expiry Date - Choose the expiry date of the documents.
- Type - Select the type of document from the drop-down menu.
- Upload File - Select the appropriate document from the system.
- You can also notify your patients via email.
- Finally, click on 'Upload'.
- Once it is updated, it will reflect on a tabular form for future reference. You can view the document by clicking on the eye icon, edit the document by clicking on the pencil, and/or delete it by clicking on the trash icon.
How To View Patient Documents
To review and confirm patient documentation, please follow these steps:
- Click on the eye icon located under the "Action" column (right).
- A new tab will open in your browser, allowing you to review the document and take any necessary actions.
How To Edit Patient Documents
To edit the uploaded patient documentation, please follow these steps:
- Click on the pencil icon located under the "Action" column (right). A new tab will pop up, allowing you to edit the document.
- Enter the changes you want to make and click on the "Save" button.
How To Delete Patient Documents
Lastly, if you want to delete the uploaded patient documentation, please follow these steps:
- Click on the trash icon located under the "Action" column (right). A confirmation prompt Delete Client Document! will pop up.
- If you want to proceed with the deletion, click on the "Proceed" button.
