This article explains how you can add documents for each patient.


How To Create Patient Document Types:

  • Click on the Settings tab on the dashboard.
  • Locate the Patient Setup tab and click on the Patient Settings option. 
  • Scroll down and click on the "Create Document Types" button. When a small box pops up, complete the following steps: 
    • Patient Document Type - Enter the title of the documents
    • Save  - Click on the 'Save' button. 
  • Once you have created the document type, you can upload relevant documents for that patient. 
  • For further actions, follow these steps:
    • Edit - To edit the document type, click on the blue pen and paper icon. 
    • Delete - To delete the type, click on the trash button. 


How To Add Patient Documents:

  • Click on Patient Tab on the dashboard and click on the patient name.
  • Click on the fifth sub-tab "Files" on the left. 
  • Choose the relevant folder. 
  • Click on the "+ Add Document" button. When a small box pops up, complete the following steps: 
    • Description - Describe the document in a few words.
    • Expiry Date  - Choose the expiry date of the documents. 
    • Type - Select the type of document from the drop-down menu. 
    • Upload File - Select the appropriate document from the system, 
    • You can also notify your patients via email.
    •  Finally, click on 'Upload'. 
  • Once it is updated, it will reflect on a tabular form for future reference. You can view the document by clicking on the eye icon, edit the document by clicking on the pencil, and/or delete it by clicking on the trash icon.



How To View Patient Documents:

To review and confirm patient documentation, please follow these steps:

  • Click on the eye icon located under the "Action" column.
  • A new tab will open in your browser, allowing you to review the document and take any necessary actions.



How To Edit Patient Documents:

To edit the uploaded patient documentation, please follow these steps:

  • Click on the pencil icon located under the "Action" column and a new tab will pop up, allowing you to edit the document. 
  • Enter the changes you want to make and click on the "Save" button. 



How To Delete Patient Documents:

Lastly, if you want to delete the uploaded patient documentation, please follow these steps:

  • Click on the trash icon located under the "Action" column and a confirmation prompt will pop up. 
  • If you want to proceed with the deletion, click on the "Proceed" button.
