This module serves as a guide to manage recurring sessions that have been scheduled. 


1. Click the Recurring Session option under the Appointment Tab. 

 

 

2. Select the date/date range from the 1st drop-down. Then, select the preferred patient/provider in the 2nd drop-down. Now, choose the patient/provider in the 3rd drop-down. Click on Go to generate a list of recurring sessions scheduled for the respective patient(s) or provider(s). Additionally, you can also toggle between All or Active for filtered results. 



The list shows 8 columns - patient, service & hours, provider, place of service (POS), start & end date, hours worked, and the action list for further session editing.  

 

The last column "Action" consists of editable features, which you can use for making changes to the existing recurring sessions. It allows you to: 
 

  1. Edit Recurring SessionEdit the required details for the recurring sessions and Save changes. 
  2. Extend Recurring PatternTo extend the recurring session pattern for your patient, select the end date from the date range selection. Click on Create Session(s) to create appointments with a recurring pattern for the new end date.   
  3. Manage Recurring Sessions (Day View, Single View)TherapyPM allows you to manage individual recurring sessions - Day View and Single View, based on your convenience.  



TherapyPM allows you to manage recurring sessions in two different ways - Day View and Single View

Day View

Day View resembles the Calendar View format and shows all recurring appointments scheduled for each weekday (from Monday to Friday). It allows you to track sessions easily by date. 


Under the Day View, a drop-down box provides two options: 

  • Move to: You can reschedule or move the previously scheduled appointments to other days. First of all, select the preferred appointment on the list for moving. Select Move To in the 1st drop-down below the list. Then, select the preferred day in the 2nd drop-down for moving the previously scheduled appointment. Click on Go
  • Bulk Delete: You can delete unwanted appointments in bulk with just a click. **Click on the preferred day and the appointments to delete from the list.** Select Bulk Delete from the drop-down below the list. Click on Go 


Single View 

Single View resembles the List View format, showing all recurring appointments and precise details - patient, service, hours, provider, place of service (POS), start date, session hours, status, and action. It gives you in-depth information for managing specific session details. 


Under the Single View, the drop-down box provides only one option:
 

  • Bulk Delete: You can delete unwanted appointments from the list with just a click. Select the appointments to delete from the list. Then, select Bulk Delete from the drop-down box, and click Go.
