This article explains how your clients can set up and access their profiles in Client Portal.

What Admins Can Do

Setting up Profile:

  1. First, create a Patient profile. Click on the "+" icon in the Quick Icon Tray above and select "Create Patient". Follow the steps as explained in this article.

  2. After creating the patient profile, navigate to the Patients module on the left. Under the Patients list, select that patient's name either by scrolling or using the search bar.
  3. Under the Patient info, navigate to the Patient Portal on the left. You can learn more about this in this linked article.

Sharing the Portal Link:

Click on the blue Send Invitation button to share the portal link with the patient via email.

Note: The email addresses entered during patient creation will populate automatically. Admins can view the status of the patient's account setup below the email address.

Additionally, TherapyPM will inform you of the status of the portal signup:

What Clients Can Do

Accessing the Client Portal

  1. The client will get an email with a link to sign into their account and set up their credentials.
  2. They should click on the link in the email, enter their password twice, and click on "Create Account".
  3. Once they've set up their credentials, they can log into their account by entering their email address and password.

Changing Password:

In case your client forgets their password, they can reset the password in two ways:

  1. Self-Service: They can click "Forgot Password" on the login page, enter their email, and receive a verification code. After entering the code, they can set a new password and log in securely.
  2. Admin Assistance: Alternatively, the admin can provide them with a link to change their password.
    • In the admin account, open the Patient profile and go to the "Patient Portal" tab.
    • Select an expiration date for the link and click "Generate Link."
    • The admin can copy the link and send it via email or message, or share it directly with the client.
    • The client can click the link to reset their password and gain access to the portal.
