How to Manage Appointments in Calendar View?

Navigate to the Appointment module on the left. Within the Appointment module, select the Calendar View option.


Calendar View Functionalities: 

Calendar Display: TherapyPM has three different display views to choose from. 

  • You can choose between day, week, or month.
  • Navigate to the previous or next day, week, or month by using the '<' or '>' buttons on the left side of the screen.
  • To view the previous or next year, simply click on '<<' or '>>'
Note: The week view is the default option.

Daily View



Weekly View



Monthly View


Show WeekendDisengage the toggle to remove Saturday and Sunday from the Calendar View.



Edit Appointment: 

You can edit appointment details by following these steps. 

  • Select the appointment you wish to edit. An Edit Appointment screen will pop up. 
  • Make the necessary changes and save them.  
  • To view session details, click the info button (i) for a preview. 
     
  1. For further actions, click the orange Actions button: 
    • Add Notes - Click this option to add a session note.
    • View Notes - Click this option to view the add session note.
    • Copy Notes - Click this option to make a copy of an existing session note.
    • Sticky Notes - Use this option to add a sticky note to the session.
    • Add Session Break - Click this option to add session break(s). A drop-down will appear, asking you to select Replacement Provider, Start and End Time. 
  2. Patient Arrival: Click this option to engage the patient arrival function.
  3. Start/End Session: Enable the toggle at the top to activate it.  


Filters:

You can apply advanced filters to view specific appointments. Click on the "Filter" icon on the top right corner. Choose any one of the options under the drop-down for the following:

  • Date
  • Treatment Type
  • Patient(s)
  • Provider(s) 
  • Place of service 
  • Status
Note: Date Range is required. Only if you select the desired date range, you can select additional filters. 


Settings: 

You can customize your calendar by clicking on the "gear icon".

  • Color By: Customize the appointments by provider or service for the background color. 
  • Title By: Choose whether you want to display the provider's first and last initials, the client's first and last initials, or both in each appointment.
  • Choose between three different layout types
    1. Normal Grid View - The appointments will appear without time divisions.
    2. Time Grid View - Time divisions will appear and the appointments will have a background color, irrespective of their status. 
    3. Time Grid Rendered View - It is similar to 'Time Grid View' but the appointments are color-coded based on their status. For Month View, this is the only applicable option.
  • Show As Default - 
    1. Select if you want to view weekend or non-billable.

H. Calendar Sync: You can sync the TherapyPM calendar with your Google Calendar 

  • Click on the Google Calendar Icon.
  • Choose the Provider Name and the date range.
  • Click on Sync to Google Calendar.
  • If you want to reset the synced calendar, click on the Reset Google Calendar button.
